Day 18

We just passed the 50% mark, praise God from Whom all Blessings flow! We are about 2 days from Leon, if you check a map, and the weather is magnificent. Blue skies and shirt sleeves.ç

Mostly alone today during the walk, until we got to this town, and met all our new friends. Dinner was fun.

Tomorrow is Sunday, and we miss you all and especially our Dayspring family we would like to worship with. I know that God has something wonderful for you and look forward to hearing about what He has to say.

Carol says ´hello´and is doing quite well. These new relationships are her forte, you know, so I walk along amazed by her gift at work.So many on different spiritual journeys, yet all seeking a similar thing, to know….

Still can´t get the pictures loaded, sorry…..

Love to all.

Hi you two, I tried to post to you several days ago but it didn’t go. Hope this does. I am thinking of you both everyday and imagining all Carol’s interactions. I can’t wait to hear about everything you will have discovered about God, yourselves and His grace and GLORY. God bless you both and may He protect your feet, knees hips and backs. Keep on trucking for Jesus.
    Much love, carol

Skipper and Carol- You guys are amazing! We love reading all of your updates and will keep you lifted up in prayer until we see you safe and sound in good ol’ Banks! O how I wish we could all meet you in Spain at the end of your walk and celebrate the victory. 🙂 Your sheep miss you and love you both so much! See you soon!

Ola & Ole! Skipper and Carol!
We are blessed to hear from you, friends on a physical and spiritual adventure.
Half way, eh? Hope the rest is all a stroll in the park. We know you will have “aha’s” to share aplenty upon your return.
Clothes still fit? Met any characters from the “Way” movie (i.e. a hostelier carrying on both sides of a conversation)?
As we go through our “daily walk” here in Seaside – family breakfast and scatter, drive Dominic to and from school/Jujitsu/ Lego club, relish in adult golf/yoga/music/tap therapy, do chores, fall into naps, make meals, clean up, pay bills, pray, fall into bed at night – I think how it must sometimes be similar to you two trekking from morning to night, one foot after the other. It takes attention to see God at work in our everyday lives. May we all have many “aha’s” to share when we meet again!
Ran into Sam Heiney. He sure is looking like someone we know in Spain!
Love and prayers, Allan & Linda
