Day 37

It is Thursday morning here, and we are drying out from two days of rain. Yesterday it rained hard all day, to which Carol replied, ¨A walk in the park.¨ What a trooper!

Today we will go a short distance to just outside Santiago, then tomorrow maybe we´ll get to the city. We should have plenty of time to go to Finisterre, and look forward to that history lesson, as it has been called ¨The end of the world¨ for centuries.

Trying hard to keep our minds off all that awaits us upon return, so we can live these last Camino Days as Pilgrims, but you are all on our minds and hearts.

Sermons? Yes, I have a few hundred stored up!!!

See you soon.

One last burst of “walk the camino” verses to get you to the finish line…

“The Lord watches over the “camino” of the righteous, but the “camino” of the wicked leads to destruction.
    Psalm 1:6

The Lord holds success in store for the upright, he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless, for he guards the course of the just and protects the “camino” of his faithful ones.
    Prov 2:7-8

I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.
    John 8:12

Look every day for a post and follow the trail on google maps at the route you’re on. It looks impossible, but you’ve done it!!! Can’t wait to sit at your feet and learn even more about our amazing God. Finish strong and “come good home”. An 80 degree day and much love awaits you at home on Tuesday. N

    Hi Carol and Skip,

We’re here in home group talking about you and how awesome this experience has been…and what troopers you are! We..all of us…can’t wait to hear all that you have to share, knowing you’ll probably want time to sift through all before sharing. Nevertheless, we are all so looking forward to having you home with us again. May God continue to be with you as you take these last steps…enjoying each and every one. See you soon.
    Love, Cheryl and Norm

Happy and sad at the same time—-can’t wait to see both of you again, but we will really miss the “Tales from the Trail”. Praying for a continuation of rich blessings from our good Father. Go with God dear pilgrims!
